sums up the complicated feelings perfectly. the same way the games would expand on new additions to the squad or loss of them. I'm trying to take the opportunity to make new memories with new squads in horde and share the campaign with my partner. Then after, replay the og games as well.

For the Fallen. And the too busy. Even as a G1-3 dev I made my son wait until he was a teenager to play. We played through 4 and 5 together. And now he’s on the other side of the country and too busy. Amazing job making movies and he loves it. Just too busy.

I couldn't have said it better. great video and this is exactly how it feels to play all these franchises that we grew up with. its not the game itself that felt special but the people we played them with that created those special moments.

I think the things that have been complained about are valid just blown way out of proportion. I still enjoyed the game, even with the small annoyances. I still wanted MORE marcus and dom than was given and was taken up by mags, but I figure we will get 2 more games like this so theres a chance to get more.

the game is back but my friends have still moved on. thankfully, I have my son to rock it with. I know my friend, who shared the same shocked expression when we finished gears 4 splitscreen for the first time, would have loved co-op if we stayed in touch.

My son is playing it with me this weekend bro and I’m pumped for it! I played through act 1 and I think it’s amazing. But I feel you bro. All my OGs have been “last seen x years ago” 😭
