@k8news: A Monette home burned last week, but its homeowners said they are looking to the future as they pick up the pieces. It started when 21-year-old Esther Perez noticed smoke coming from a tree in the back of the property. She called 911 and went to investigate. However, soon after she started evacuating her pets, the fire had reached the house and started blowing out the windows. #fire #housefire
