Start off with cheap singles. Whatever you want to collect that is niche or just looks cool. Then level up a little from there each time. Don’t spend all your money on booster boxes, bundles and ETBs over msrp. Just be patient, save money or doubles of cards you might have to trade for bigger ticket items. Don’t get in over your head, if you don’t have the money at the time, it’s alright. 🤷♂️

Don’t only rip. Buy singles. Don’t worry about what things are worth all the time. Don’t sell the stuff you pull to get more packs to rip. I had a bad habit of doing that when I first got back into it in 2021 I would sell my stuff just to rip more.

buy what you like and chances are over time people will also like the same thing and it will go up. like for me i loved level x cards and xy promos or full arts and my collection has became worth well over 6 figs bc of it so just do the same
