@thehandwritingot: Try this fun Shark Teeth Activity! 🦈 Have your child: 1️⃣ Fill the shark’s mouth with pink Play-Doh. 2️⃣ Place Q-tips cut in half into the Play-Doh to make the shark’s teeth. 3️⃣ Use small tongs to pull the “teeth” back out! And while they’re having fun, they’re working on: ✋ Hand strength — squeezing and manipulating Play-Doh builds the little muscles needed for writing. 🤏 Pincer strength & fine motor control — placing the Q-tips and using tongs helps strengthen the fingers and improve control. 👀 Hand-eye coordination — they have to visually guide each “tooth” into the right spot. 🎯 Precision & motor planning — using tongs requires controlled, purposeful movements that help prepare little hands for handwriting.
