In my house I’m the worker and my husband stays home with the kids. I own my own business with 7 staff and as a stylist who works and talks to people all day long. That extra 15mins in the car before I walk in the door is heaven. We are not avoiding our responsibilities as parents. We are compressing and leaving the work BS at the door so it doesn’t affect our home lives.

without being rude. moms why not just got outside for 15mins. I'm getting my wife into taking her time to her self. like baby the house would be picked up the kids should be cared for. take as much time as you need.

Literally I think that’s why my husband takes forever in the bathroom when he goes to shower after work….thats “his time” to decompress before he jumps into fatherhood and being a husband for the night. Sometimes I get frustrated but then I remember he needs time too, it’s all about balance!!

As a guy. Just let us know. We aren’t mind readers. I’m a mechanic and sometimes we do not want to bring the job home so we need a reset before we open the door. Let us have a little time to leave it in rhe yard. And then tell us you need a little reset and we will guard the bedroom or your bath time like Jon snow guarded the wall. ❤️we just need to know.
