You should use a smaller drill bit and get that screw out. It you need to you can retap the screw hole. The tools to do that are relatively cheap

@OBS_Britt💸: dielectric grease for moisture protection , those type of distributors and rotor buttons are bad for moisture that’s what causes corrosion.
