I’m not negating that the lash gate wasn’t great. But to me, it just shows how gullible we all can be as consumers. & it’s worrying how much we “rely” on influencers, who are making a profit from selling you something. We’re all skeptical of the cars salesman because he gets commission, but we seem to forget this skepticism for influencers. I think lots of us need to go and touch some grass.

@K: The interesting thing is that we watch hair commercials all the time for Pantene, L’Oréal, etc and those models have wigs, extensions, hair glosses etc. We will watch a Maybelline ad and the Celebrities have filters and people don’t care. But the moment this woman does anything, people take offense to it.
