Girl I just commented on her tiktok bc there was no need for her to put you on blast for something that is out of your control. Sounds like they just wanted there money back . The bouquet was gorgeous

I’ve had bouquets last up to a month in my cooler. I’ve also had flowers last 5 days in my house. The environment matters! Flowers in my house last me wayyy less than flowers in my mom’s house.. why? Because the sun hits my house more than it hits my moms because her house has lots of big trees around to block the sun. IT ALL MATTERS.

as a florist I would not do a full refund either , credit yes ! Flowers are not meant to last forever 🤦🏽♀️and after 6 days is crazy, pink roses wilt so easily like if their in a humid/hot area and I understand why it wilted faster likely because of the hydrangeas ! Hydrangeas literally drink water from the stem and the heads which creates moisture for the roses around them . I would’ve separated the roses and hydrangeas . Your work was so beautiful and looks worth it hun💗💗

Honestly as a florist if you got proof that the bouquet was handed in good condition, then it’s out of your control. The way you take care of the flowers definitely depends on the person who receives them. You to nice to even give a credit to them.

I’m also a florist. People need to understand that if you want them to last longer, you have to trim the ends when you first put the bouquet in water & a change of water and trim every 2-3 days the latest. Temperature of a house also matters!

This makes me feel like I’ve been over doing it with refunds lol .. I refund full deposits bc I feel like that’s my obligation as a small business and I still get talked down to because they want their money back 😢

I’m sorry but you shouldn’t be offering refund or credit at all , they told you 6 days later plus even if they tell 24 hrs you shouldn’t apply that refund , because like you said you can tell them how take cared of them but nothing guarantees they will follow instructions.
