@thehapawellness: Facial massage may do more than create a temporary “lifted” look. In one Japanese study, researchers used CT scans to track changes after participants massaged their faces twice daily for two weeks. The scans showed an average upward and outward shift of about 4 mm at the cheek’s highest point. They also measured a change in the SMAS, a deeper support layer of facial tissue. I’m fascinated by how facial tension and the different layers of the face work together. The takeaway? Small, consistent practices add up. 💬 For a full facial lifting program get it in my link in bio. 📌 Save this as a reminder to stay consistent with your routine. #faceyoga #facialmassage #japanese #beautytips #skincaretips
