@texanscommenter: CJ Stroud when asked where his growing maturity has shown up most for him: “How I’ve been able to handle things outside of football. Family life, noise. Not only as a football player I’ve grown, as a man, man of God. Been able to hone in on what I believe and focus on the things that I love doing and being at peace with that. I remember hearing a Nipsey Hussle quote: ‘would you rather be at peace with the world and war with yourself or war with the world and peace within.’ I’ve really tried my best to have peace within. And realize it’s OK to not always have everybody like you and have your back. Those who love you & people in this building who love you is all that matters. I think that’s where I’ve grown.”
