the best way to keep luminance consistent is to use oklch which use under the hood a colorspace transform from oklch to oklab to linear rgb to srgb. a 15% chroma with the same luminance will reflect regardless of the color choice the same contrast ratio to the neighbor pixel which is exactly handy for dark and light mode.

Nice. I thought something looked bad on dark mode, and it was the saturation an text opacity.
