As a teacher, it really means so much kapag may former students kaming nagg-greet sa amin every Teachers’ Day. 🥹🤍 It’s not just about receiving greetings or being remembered. It’s also about realizing na kahit papaano, naging part kami ng buhay nila and that somehow, we made an impact that stayed with them. Kahit hindi na namin sila madalas nakikita, and kahit matagal na silang wala sa classroom namin, the fact na naaalala pa rin nila kami means a lot. Minsan, hindi namin alam kung gaano kalaki or kaliit ang naging impact namin sa kanila, but moments like these remind us that teaching goes beyond lessons, quizzes, and discussions. Because at the end of the day, one of the most fulfilling things about being a teacher is knowing na kahit wala na kami sa araw-araw nilang buhay, may parte pa rin kami sa mga alaala nila. And honestly, that’s one of the sweetest things a teacher could ever ask for. 🥹🤍
