people think grief is just crying, but for me it was mostly exhaustion and feeling completely disconnected from reality. reading degrees of frozen silence reminded me that healing isn't a straight line and it's okay to still feel empty sometimes.

It was my mums death anniversary was not long ago. Nobody said anything. I had told my friends like a week before. I mean idk what I expected it’s not their mum that’s dead. I was too scared to tell them on the day or ask for comfort bc i didn’t want to seem like an attention seeker. Idk. Not that anyone actually cares anyway. They keep living their life while mines ended.
