Running 3 trucks now hauling logs. The fuel sucks but honestly I can deal with that. It’s the insurance that’s going to wind up putting me out I’m afraid. No accidents no tickets all drivers have a perfectly clean record, clean dot and insurance goes up every year. Went up 10k this year for no reason at all

Ambulance chasing lawyers and the greed of our politicians who help by saying our premiums are to low to keep up with the times. Funny how everything in trucking has gone up but the rates are still always low. We won’t ever get anywhere until this industry as a whole stands up but sadly the megas want all of the small guys out

I held onto a car dealership business way longer than I should have after the Covid bubble popped and screwed everything up. I so wish I bailed out sooner. I would have saved six figures. It was hard to step away after 20 years but I wish I did it sooner. I’d have way more money right now.

Man I’ve watched your videos for a couple year, you’re encouraging for me. I run a one truck show that I drive myself. I do ALL my own repair work. 05 4900ex with a mxs. Been in the frac sand game and it’s been tough to say the least. I know that you’ve got multiple revenue streams, and you’re closing up shop… It makes me wonder if my “burn the boats” mentality is blinding me to a better options or even the need to transition to something else altogether.

Its a shame that so many small companies are closing the doors. When I got my class A it was a small livestock outfit that gave me a chance. The bigger companies wanted the 3 or 5 years of experience. Now 20 years in the saddle and about 10 years of wrenching I never forget the little guy. I have been following you for quite awhile and its all good relatable content for me. I hate to see the company to come to an end but I have no doubt you will be fine with your next venture.
