Ben Ravenscroft was a writer in Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost who conned the Mystery Gang into a trip to his hometown to find his ancestor's book so he could sacrifice them. Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost is also the breakout appearance for the Hex Girls.

Tim Curry agreed to play the main villain for free. But he quit when he found out Scrappy Doo was going to be in the movie as he (and many other fans) hated him in the original cartoons.

In Mystery Inc. Velma and Shaggy were a couple. But shaggy dumped her because she had jealousy issues with Scoob. It’s my favorite Scooby Doo series. It takes place before they ever hit the road and it’s a perfect prequel.
