As someone who is learning ASL to better communicate those I work with (I’m a DSP) you diving in the way you did and being so good gives me a lot of hope that my skills will continue to improve. okay this made me tear up because i work with a lot of students that are hearing impaired or deaf and so many interpreters and therapists come in and their heart isn’t in it and i can tell yours is. that is such a beautiful gift 🤎

found out i was hard of hearing at 20, nearly five years later i just got my first pair of hearing aids! I’m now trying to learn BSL as i’ve moved from the US to Scotland but it’s so much different than ASL and is tripping me up! It’s so nice seeing asl on here, makes me feel a bit more at home 🩷

heyyy ily and your videos! my mom is going deaf, and im hoping to start learning sign so that we can communicate when she eventually loses all hearing (she’s learning too). is there anyway that when you do asl song covers you put subtitles of what signs you’re doing? idk if thats technically see, but i can see it being helpful for people that want to learn so that they know the order that you use the signs in
