Blah bla bla- my whole life I heard from those older than me- work hard, don’t clock in late, don’t call off and you will go far in your career. 2/3 of that will prevent you from getting fired,but getting ahead requires only that you know the right people who will pull you up.

My teammate who was always there on time got laid off a few months ago. Become the guy everyone knows and likes n the office, you do this by being helpful and friendly , always positive and in a good mood.
