My brother in law passed away and I stayed with my sister for a little while to help her out. I was working full time. She wasn’t working at all. Every weekend she’d go out and party and I was at home with the kids, including her very colicky 4 month old. She didn’t get home until sunrise. And almost every single day she’d ask me to stop at the store on my way home from work (I was in the medical field where I spent half of my time dealing with drug seeking patients and their attitude, so I was already burnt out). It was very eye opening. And, even though I still work full time, I don’t ask my husband very often to stop at the store anymore. 😂
