It’s because they over built and for some ungodly reason they’re still building for the tourists. We used to have a lot of vegetation for the water to absorb into our natural soils….. they covered it with concrete so there’s no where for the water to go quick enough……. And it’s only going to get worse. I got my kids and I out of there a few months ago…. After over 30 years of living there. I see nothing but devastation and destruction near ahead😞
