Wow! This is honestly so disheartening to see. To put ALL Black men into a category and suggest that they are somehow “hard to love” is such a low-quality take. And let’s be honest—if the roles were reversed, and a Black man said, “Black women are hard to love,” there would be immediate outrage. So why is it okay to make that same generalization about Black men? Black men are not hard to love. Black women are not hard to love. People are people. The issue is that sometimes we keep choosing the wrong people and then blame an entire group for the choices we’ve made. It’s not hard to love someone who is healthy, intentional, emotionally available, respectful, and genuinely wants to be loved and loved correctly. Choose better, heal, and stop generalizing an entire group of people because of your personal experiences.

I’m going to say this black women speak from their hurt from the black men that hurt them because I love black men even though my dad he hurt me he wasn’t given the tools to have that kind of caring loving nature as a 47 year-old black woman it took me becoming 47 to fully understand Black Men and Now I like to listen to them . I learned to let them express themselves. I’m about to be 48 next month so it took me a lot of understanding and pushing back on what hurt me from those I dated that were black men to truly understand things are there some disrespectful, black men yes even though you have to find out why they’re broken I promise you when you find out why they’re broken We will learn to understand cause both sides are not hard to love. We are just hard to understand.

It has to do with how black men and women for that matter were raised. Our parents are the first experiences with relationships of the opposite sex. So many of our primary experiences with our parent of the opposite gender were incredibly dysfunctional, traumatic, or non existent even. If we lack awareness to make a choice to create a different dynamic regarding how we love God, ourselves , our partner and our children; then the pain, trauma, and poor experiences with each other bleed into our next experience with one another. Our upbringing as a race regarding relationships with mom and dad lacked balance, stability, emotional intelligence and maturity. Therefore we have have poor experiences with each other. Let’s not just point the finger at black men because they are not all to blame. We gotta make a choice to let the past go and stop treating one another poorly. Forgive each other. I adore and love black men🥰 regardless of their dysfunction. They are not all hard to love. We have to put the past behind us and learn to forgive and love and respect one another. It can be done, but we have to collectively make a choice to come together and make it happen. Starting with Gods standards in place.
