@kacey.montoya: I wasn’t even going to post today, but I had to. Too much hype over Hurricane 🌀 Rachel making landfall in SoCal. No… that isn’t going to happen. Yes.. we are going to feel some impacts from the remnants of Rachel. How much?? Well that still depends on the track of Rachel —- we could see light rain as early as Saturday for some areas, but more likely it will start Saturday night into Sunday morning with chances continuing through Tuesday. San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties — likely 0.10” or less LA, Ventura Counties, OC, IE likely 0.50” Mountains could see 2.00” It is likely we will see increased winds Sunday until Monday from the coastal Waters to the Desert… Will keep you updated on that. Coastal Flood Advisories have been extended until Tuesday afternoon. And the southerly swells from hurricane Rachel will continue to impact our coastline.
