Tips & Suggestions for Phoksundo Viewpoints 1, 2 & 3 🏔️For the best experience, it’s recommended to start early in the morning from Ringmo Village. * Viewpoint 1: Enjoy a beautiful view of Phoksundo Lake from the front. * Viewpoint 2: You’ll get a wider and more spectacular view of the lake. * Viewpoint 3 / Camp 3: This is where you can see the famous Y-shaped view of Phoksundo Lake. ⏱️Duration: It takes around 2–3 hours to reach the viewpoints from Ringmo Village, depending on your walking pace. 💧 Water: There is no water source at Viewpoints 1, 2, or 3, so make sure to carry 2–3 bottles of water with you from Ringmo Village. ⚠️Important: Start early and try to begin your return journey before around 11:30 AM. The wind can become very strong later in the morning, making the trail more challenging and potentially risky, particularly on exposed sections. Start early, carry enough water, stay safe, and enjoy the breathtaking views of Phoksundo Lake.
