@allthingzdayzecrime: 🚹 CALEB FLYNN: FROM TEXT MESSAGES TO A LIFE SENTENCE 📅 FEBRUARY 15, 2026 The night before Ashley Flynn was killed, prosecutors presented text messages between Caleb Flynn and Alleigha Botner, a woman with whom prosecutors said Flynn was having an affair. One message attributed to Flynn read: “I choose you. I’m free. Actions will come tomorrow.” 📅 FEBRUARY 16, 2026 Ashley Flynn was fatally shot inside the couple’s home in Tipp City, Ohio. Flynn called 911 and reported that an intruder had broken into the home and shot Ashley. Prosecutors later argued that Flynn had staged the scene to make the killing appear to be a home invasion. đŸ“± MORE THAN 100,000 TEXT MESSAGES During the trial, prosecutors presented extensive communications between Flynn and Botner. Prosecutors argued that the messages showed Flynn’s hostility toward Ashley and evidence of planning. The defense disputed the prosecution’s interpretation of the messages and maintained Flynn’s innocence. ⚖ SEPTEMBER 29, 2026 A Miami County jury found Flynn guilty on all nine charges, including aggravated murder, three counts of murder, two counts of felonious assault and three counts of tampering with evidence. The jury also found firearm specifications attached to seven charges. (CBS News) 🔒 OCTOBER 5, 2026 Flynn was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for Ashley Flynn’s murder, with additional prison terms imposed for related offenses. (CBS News) Flynn continues to maintain his innocence, and his defense has indicated that it expects to appeal the convictions. (ABC News) Ashley Flynn’s death. A jury’s verdict.
