I’ve seen a few over the years usually dead a few big ones and some smaller ones. My cats get them before I see them lol but not all bugs here are scorpions. Wait till you find a camel spider! 😬

IKR🤬🥵. I’ve been in Arizona since 2004 and I’ve been very very lucky with rentals that I’ve never experienced a major issue with anything on first floor except for one property in MESA and come to find that they were built on Orange Grove now if you lived upstairs by the front part of the property which used to be Winhaven on Greenfield and like by the 16th southern I don’t know what it’s called now my friend lived on top floor. He had no scorpions no insects. Nothing in 2006. I lived there on the bottom I was about 50 feet from a pool and it didn’t matter what floor you lived on. They were scorpions galore and I didn’t know it until I got stung by a baby and I’m allergic to bees washed Yellowjackets hornets and when I went to the emergency room cause I couldn’t breathe cause I’m asthmatic like oh are you allergic to blah blah like yeah I’m like you allergic to scorpions not only did. I have scorpions in my house even though I got pest control twice a month luckily I didn’t have them inside my drawers where other people upstairs did, but I also had black widows and something that looked like a recluse and literally one day cause when I first went to rent like oh we don’t have any scorpion problems or spider problems they’re liars. I caught two of them stuck them in a plastic container. I said so you don’t have any scorpions or she flipped out where’d you get those? I said in my living room she goes holy shit. I don’t even play what she got fired afterwards because other people are having them that just rented and they had just said oh no no no scorpion same thing we complain the management that I saw the release and I was so thankful because I was terrified to sleep at night. I haven’t got a cat, but cats are not immune to them. They don’t react the same as humans or other animals, but they are not immune. They actually do get damaged. It’s just not the same so yeah nope I wear even where I live now in North Phoenix I don’t live by the mountain or anything. I literally wear shoes all the time and before I go to bed, I check because you know you can get sewer roaches, which are not harmful, but they’re gross and I also get crickets every once in a while

Stayed up for hours staring at one spot til my dad could get in to grab it since we thought it was a scorpion on the ceiling since it glowing in uv light. It wasn't- I forgot what it was but I cursed out a inanimate object and stood there for nothing
