She was embarrassed, ashamed, and so unhappy with herself that she could barely look in the mirror. She spent more time feeling sorry for herself than actually living her life. Somewhere along the way, she'd lost herself. The woman on the right? She just turned 44. And she's living a life the girl on the left never thought was possible. She's confident. She's happy. She's unapologetically herself. And for the first time in a very long time, she genuinely LOVES the person staring back at her in the mirror. But here's what I want you to understand... The biggest transformation wasn't what happened to my body. It was what happened in my mind. I stopped letting my insecurities dictate how I lived my life. I stopped waiting to be happy. I stopped believing my best years were behind me. And if there's one thing I've learned, it's this: You are NEVER too old to reinvent yourself. Never too far gone to start over. And NEVER too late to become the person you've always wanted to be. At 44, I don't feel like I'm getting older. I feel like I'm just getting started. And to the girl on the left... I wish you could see us now.
