@malcolmnewssource: SHARE TO SPREAD AWARENESS🚨 FRESNO COMMUNITY GATHERS AMID REPORTS OF INCREASED ICE ACTIVITY Community members and faith leaders gathered in Downtown Fresno on Wednesday, Oct. 7, for a multi-faith prayer vigil in support of immigrant families. Organized by Faith in the Valley, the vigil took place outside the ICE Processing Building on L Street following reports of increased immigration enforcement across Fresno and Madera counties. Local immigration advocates reported roughly two dozen detentions earlier this week, although federal officials have not independently confirmed that number. The gathering brought people together for prayer, solidarity and support while also highlighting resources available to immigrant families. 📞 IMPORTANT RESOURCES: • Valley Watch Network: 559-206-0151 • Mexican Consulate in Fresno (emergencies): 559-269-3026 📲 Follow @MalcolmNewsSource for more local news and updates across Fresno County. #Fresno #FresnoCA #FresnoCounty #CentralValley #iceraid

We need to talk about how schools are failing our kids on basic fundamentals like reading and writing. It’s seriously impacting the next generation
