no cuz Gachiakuta is so good even if its literal trash (pun intended)

𝓅𝓇𝓋𝓉.ℛ’ :

ITS GACHIAKUTA IT HAS TO BE

ubewaffless :

like yeah i watch a show about trash 🧍🏻‍♀️they wouldn’t understand

josecasserole :

Because this show doesn’t have any stupid training shonen bullshit, that’s why it’s good. It’s pure lore, pure emotional stakes without any cheap death shit, and has really tight pacing. Literally the only “training” that ever happens is around like one chapter AND it expands on the worldbuilding and creative power system. Rudo is already strong, and him getting stronger is purely a mental concept which is infinitely more relatable and endearing as a protagonist. It’s character driven as opposed to mindless action, which is why it’s so peak.

luckylittlemonster :

it's because the characters are actually well written, the author doesn't really rush into things, we don't get 5 episodes of just backstory for the sake of the plot (even in the manga, I feel like she brushes on the backstory a little and leaves A LOT to the imagination of the reader which is like a breath of fresh air). Rudo is such a great character who doesn't have to fight to become stronger, he's already strong yet he knows he can improve, and the fact that he's always freaking mad?? love that!! a character who's goal won't change through the power of friendship is actually great in this new era of anime. and the fact that you can actually see he's still a child, a hurt traumatized child who barely learned how to curse people out. the artstyle is peak too in both anime and manga.
