Baptisms was not started only from John Baptised. When Moses lead Israelite to depart from Egypt 🇪🇬 and ref sea separated into two parts . At that time they were baptised . 1 Corinthians 10:1–2, the Apostle Paul writes to the early church to remind them of their history: "For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea. They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea 2 Kings 5:14 So he went down and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, according to the word of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child and he was clean. Ezekiel 36:25–26: Promises that God will sprinkle clean water on His people, cleanse them from impurities, and give them a new heart and spirit. Psalm 51:10: David prays for God to wash him thoroughly and create a clean heart within him. Zechariah 13:1: Speaks of a fountain opened for the house of David to cleanse them from sin and uncleanness. Genesis 6–9 (The Flood): Noah's ark passing safely through the judgment of water symbolizes salvation, which the New Testament explicitly connects to baptism (1 Peter 3:20–21) Leviticus 14 & Numbers 19: The ceremonial washing rituals and sprinkling of purifying water by the priests prefigure spiritual cleansing Joshua 3: The Israelites crossing the Jordan River into the Promised Land, marking entry into a new life and inheritance 2 Kings 5:10–14 (Naaman in the Jordan): Naaman washing seven times in the Jordan River to be cured of his leprosy symbolises being cleansed from sin through obedience Exodus 14 (The Red Sea): Israel passing through the sea escaping slavery pictures deliverance from judgment through water Genesis 1:2: The Spirit of God hovering over the primordial waters, prefiguring new creationn
