@traddpitt: I think I just found my new favorite tattoo fusion. Taking old school bold traditional tattoos that have been lived in, aged, and settled into the skin, then filling the gaps with hardcore black and gray fine line work. There’s something so badass about the contrast. It’s unorthodox, a little grimy, chaotic, and rugged, but somehow it all comes together perfectly. Nothing looks too polished or overly planned. Just that raw, lived in, collected over time look that hits so damn hard. I’ve been seeing more artists in Southern California experimenting with this style, and I seriously can’t get enough of it.
