I do maintenance at a community college and love it. headphones in, see my boss maybe once a day for 30 seconds. paid holidays off, great benefits.

I’m a 3rd shift custodial supervisor at a high school. My crew consists of me, and 4 others. I can go a whole week without seeing or hearing from my boss. We all like to keep to ourselves— listening to music or podcasts. It’s the easiest money I’ve ever made. I applied for this job after being SO OVER the stress of climbing the corporate ladder. Much more peaceful. Lol

depends on how you look and if you talk to people or not. Bad looking and not talking people dont acknowledge you, good looking not talking people might like you, bad looking and talkative people think you're a predator, good looking and talkative people think youre cool(but are more likely to actually be a predator)

me at the hospital lol. I used to be a janitor i dont work at the school district anymore. Working at the school gets you retirement money too. I had 5 grand when I left

teachers are employed on 9 to 10 month contracts. janitors are employed year-round. most of the work is done in solitude and they don't have to talk to people. next to the gym teacher, they are probably some of the smartest people there are. lol
