Good lawd that's great pay. On top of free insurance on you and next to nothing on the family, amazing interest rates on loans, discounts everywhere, everything half off at commissary, and so much more. Most military personnel will never be in harms way.

Yess girl on that TSP! 👏 I work a federal job and that’s the advice someone retiring gave me. He said after 25 years he was retiring with close to a million just based off TSP because they match it 100%!

Remember before you retire set up an account in the cook islands and transfer your TSP there into an account the IRS cannot touch it. I kept all mine because my lawyer set up the account into a trust for me. Just one retired soldier to another.
