Just as an FYI, one of the reasons they’re approved is because the volume doesn’t get super loud. While you get the option to listen to things, you are still able to hear your surroundings. If y’all haven’t gotten feedbacks for non approved headphones, don’t consider yourself lucky - we just don’t care enough to do the extra work of submitting and delivering the feedback. At the end of the day, most of the managers are people too and if you’re a good worker, we ain’t gonna sweat the small stuff. Most of my workers would have been fired by now if I sat and wrote them up every time I saw their headphones (which is every shift). Guess what that does at the end of the day? Leaves me short handed on headcount. Just know that if you get injured, safety will review footage, and if it’s found that you have unapproved headphones, forget any type of work comp that you think you’re bout to get.

my Amazon doesn't allow headphones of any kind. they also don't play music 🙄 it's so annoying. like just let us use open ear ones to keep us motivated with some good music

Headphone should be prohibited. You can hear what’s going on around you.

That screen is a dead giveaway. they aren’t passing for the approved ones. The managers ain’t that dumb bc the approved ones aren’t earbuds either, they’re cone ear inserts.
