I still remember visiting BC for the first time. I moved to Alberta when I was 23 and visited BC 3 years later. I’d never had an issue buying alcohol in Alberta. One piece of ID was enough. In BC, they wanted a second piece of ID, which I wasn’t prepared for. No second ID, no alcohol for Petra (which was almost heartbreaking back then, lol). And yes, I was mad because this had never happened to me in Calgary. Of course, years later, I understand they were just following the rules. But back then, my younger self took being denied a drink very personally, lol.

Dictatorship. When I lived in communist country as 7 year old my dad always send mi to grocery store to get wine and liquor never any problem no one ask me for anything. Entire western world is run by psychopaths.
