There is a reason tomorrow is already yesterday, but only when today remembers what it forgot to forget. I asked the clock if it knew, and it said 7, which is strange because I never asked what time it was. Then I thought about it again and realized that thinking about thinking is technically thinking twice, unless you forgot the first thought, in which case you only thought once about thinking twice. Then the door was open before I opened it. Inside was nothing, except the thing that wasn’t there. Maybe that explains why nobody noticed it. Either way, I’m pretty sure the answer was Tuesday. I read this again and somehow it makes less sense every time, which probably means it makes perfect sense. I’m going to read it one more time just in case the meaning is hiding between the words. If you find it, please don’t tell me. I want to keep looking for it.
