I am trying to learn and understand how to can. i truly appreciate you sharing your videos, and explaining it very simple where I can understand. Can you explain what makes this a rebel method? Most videos i have watched always add salt to whatever they are canning. I don't use salt in my regular cooking because of blood pressure issues. Did your taco seasoning already have salt added, if I didn't add the taco seasoning and wanted just plain chicken would I have to add salt. I appreciate anything you can share or explain to me. Do you vent after or just wait for it to drop the safety by itself? I never know when to open it. I have just left it til it quits steaming and probably sitting too long in the pot

I have dried can chickens before and I love it,it's delicious when it comes time to eat the chicken!! I've never put any seasoning in mine before I have canned it but I'm definitely going to give it a try!
