i have always wondered why is he called (hero) brine in the first place

i_canconfirm :

better explanation for the eyes: modern minecraft has blinking. when going back in time to previous versions, blinking would naturally be unsupported. hence why herobrine’s eyes are white. they’re unsupported textures

jack_standlord :

Herobrine isn’t trying to kill us back 16 years ago he’s trying to make us leave. He never fights or attacks the player. Instead, he watches. His goal was to scare us enough that we log off and never return. Because if Herobrine truly fights us, he risks defeating himself. Where the momet Herobrine would erase from existence because he eliminated himself.
