One day, I entered a Keke while coming back from work. There was already a man inside, then another man entered with his daughter. The two men clearly knew each other, so after exchanging greetings, the first man told the second man that he would pay his fare but the man was like next time I don’t have any money on me I’m coming from my daughter’s graduation and I’ve spent all the money you know how graduation can be. Tell me why the first man then said, why will even you be attending graduations, that’s for your wife, na woman dey go graduation. I was so confused like sir, are for real right now ???

Let me not shock you. The man who claims in his first child doesn’t even know my government name . He knows only my pet name that my mom gave me and that’s what I’m called at home . The last time he set his eyes on my was in 2017 . The last time he called me after 2017 was 2024 .

My married colleague always takes excuses from work and our boss always happily agrees, he has a 3 year old twin. We always call him a proud dad. He went for inter house sport and his son took 2nd, you need to see the way my colleague was singing his son's praises in the office when he got back 😅

As a doctor … many fathers don’t even know the age of their children .. u will ask the man his own child’s age and he will be asking the child their age … some of them don’t even know their children’s middle name.

I love gen z dad's and few millenial dads because in my daughter's school they always show up,picking up kids o,dropping them off o,meet the teacher o,parents fun day o they are always present and participating.

My dad was a very present dad when we were young. Was he a wonderful husband?? No!! But this man was called to be a dad. My mom tells him that in his former life he didn't have kids. My dad took me back to school up until university. My dad will visit me in Uni. My dad knows all our birthdays and we are 7 in number. In Dad department, we lucked out big time. He is older now and I still miss when he will go out and come back with catfish pepper soup for us for dinner and the unanticipated visits he used to give me in secondary school and university.
