A group of vandals caused an estimated $100,000 in damage to construction equipment and have indefinitely delayed a renovation project at the Bow In The Clouds Preserve near Kalamazoo, Michigan. Police say the masked vandals, photographed by a security camera at the job site, smashed windows on heavy machinery and tagged the equipment with graffiti in what appears to have been some misguided form of protest. The Southwest Michigan Nature Conservancy, which manages the preserve, says the Bow In The Clouds property was closed so a contractor could make improvements to trails and other renovations that would've improved public access to the natural area.
