As a DV survivor, please, if you're in an abusive relationship, have a safety plan. Confide in someone you truly trust, make your plans discreetly, and seek help safely. Things can escalate very quickly. There are organizations like Doorways in Arlington, VA, and domestic violence resources in Fredericksburg that provide shelter, safety planning, and housing assistance. I've personally used resources in both areas, and they helped me tremendously. Please look for organizations in your area. You are not alone, and help is out there. ❤️
