Looking for one of the most iconic hikes in Sedona? Devil’s Bridge is famous for its massive natural sandstone arch, incredible red-rock views, and that bucket-list photo standing on top. It’s popular for a reason — but knowing where to park and which trail to take can make your hike much easier to navigate. 🥾 HIKE INFO 🟢 Use the Chuckwagon route from Mescal Trailhead parking 🟢 Difficulty: Moderate 🟢 Expect rocky, uneven terrain with a steeper climb near the end 🟢 The final section has natural rock “stairs” and some scrambling 🟢 Very little shade, so bring plenty of water 🚗 GETTING THERE 🟢 Park at the Mescal Trailhead parking lot 🟢 Cross Long Canyon Road and pick up the Chuckwagon Trail 🟢 Follow Chuckwagon toward the Devil’s Bridge Trail 🟢 In my opinion, skip Mescal Trail altogether — take Chuckwagon to start 🟢 Parking is limited, especially during popular times- go early or at 2p@ 📍 WHAT TO EXPECT 🟢 Beautiful Sedona red-rock scenery throughout the hike 🟢 The last portion gets steeper as you approach Devil’s Bridge 🟢 The bridge is wider than it looks in photos, but there are steep drop-offs and no guardrails 🟢 You may have to wait in line for the classic photo on the bridge 🟢 Crowds can be heavier on weekends and during peak season 💡 PRO TIPS 🟢 Don’t let the name “Mescal Trailhead” confuse you — you can park there without hiking Mescal Trail 🟢 Cross the road and take Chuckwagon toward Devil’s Bridge instead 🟢 Wear shoes with good traction 🟢 Download an offline trail map BEFORE you start 🟢 Give yourself extra time for photos 🟢 Stay on established trails and practice Leave No Trace Save this guide for your Sedona trip and send it to the person you’d hike Devil’s Bridge with! 🌵🥾 If you can do only one hike in Sedona, make it this one! #tiktokgorisingstarsl2 #DevilsBridge #SedonaArizona #SedonaHiking #ArizonaTravel
