@sacred.h3ll: This is Miki Matsubara she was a Japanese singer and her short lived life was incredible and sad at the same time She was born on November 28 1959. She grew up with her parents & younger sister. Her mom was a jazz musician & her dad a hospital board member. She was a bright student. Her inspiration was her moms music & earliest exposure to music. She learned to play piano at age 3. She joined a local band in 1972 at age 12-13. When she graduated high school at 17 she decided not to go to college & skip it entirely. She moved Tokyo to pursue her career in music. She sang in bars and military bases. She was discovered by a jazz pianist. She became a professional singer at 19 years old. Her biggest hit was also at 19 and she became very popular & famous. Her song “Mayonaka no Door/Stay with me, hit # 28 in Japan. She went on to release 11 studio albums in an 8 year span. She came to California in 1981 to collaborate & record pieces for her 3rd album. Her last album was in 1988 when she was 28 years old. After that she went on to became a composer and made background music for anime, commercials and other artists. She married her drummer in 1990. Her husband retired from music in the late 1980’s or early 1990’s & went back to school to become a dentist. In late 2000 she was diagnosed with late-stage cervical cancer. She believed that her lifestyle in the music world, heavy workload contributed directly to her illness. She decided to completely cut all ties with the music industry including her band, colleague and friends. She wrote a letter to her band members & colleagues saying, “I can no longer continue with ny music for a certain reason. I am canceling my phone, cell phone, and e-mail. So please do not reply. Please love your life without regrets.” She cancelled her contract details & also she burned and destroyed her sheet music, compositions & personal records to erase the connection with the past music business. She also wrote a letter to her cousin explaining her feelings about her health and career. “Please forget the time when I sang songs and composed music. I think my lifestyle in this era brought me this disease. So I reset everything that prevents me from going forward. It reminds me of my weak point.” Her band members found out a year later that she was diagnosed & were able to understand her better. She spent her final years quiet away from the spotlight. She was undergoing cancer treatment while living quietly with the support of her family. Despite distancing herself from the music world her dad noted that she expressed a desire to do more. Saying, “I want to do many things. I’m still thinking of them.” Two months before she passed she sent a final e-mail message which was read at her funeral & it said, “I realize many things for the first time after I was diagnosed. If possible, I want to be healthy and restart ny life.” Despite cutting all ties either the music world her family said that while under medical treatments while she was under anesthesia or sedatives in her final years she was heard humming melodies in her sleep. In mid 2004 she was given 3 months to live. She lived until October 7th 2004. Her husband passed only 3 years after her. In the year 2020, 41 years after her original song released & 16 years after passing it became viral on tiktok & YouTube. In December 2020 it became # 1 globally on Spotify and Apple Music charts. An Indonesian influencer used her song in a remix & that’s how it got traction. It became the first pre-2000 track to surpass 500 million streams on Spotify. Sadly Miki, her parents nor her husband got to see the global success of her music only her sister. She would be 66 years old today. Rest In Power 1959-2004 #mikimatsubara #staywithme #mayonakanodoor

Information about Prayer 🤲🏼: Correct prayer is performing the five daily prayers on time, in a state of purification, facing the qibla, with the intention and humility of the heart present. It begins with the opening takbir, reciting al-Fatihah and another surah, then bowing and prostrating with tranquility, sitting for the two tashahhuds (in the three-unit and four-unit prayers) or for one (in Fajr), and ending with the taslim, following the guidance of the Prophet ﷺ [“Pray as you have seen me pray.”]. Steps for a correct prayer (from the opening takbir to the taslim): Preparation: wudu, covering the awrah, and facing the qibla. Intention: intending the specific prayer in your heart without uttering it. Opening takbir: saying “Allahu Akbar” while raising the hands level with the shoulders. Standing and recitation: reciting Surah al-Fatihah in every rak‘ah, and whatever you can of the Qur’an in the first two rak‘ahs. Ruku‘ (bowing): bending while placing the hands on the knees, and saying “Subhana Rabbi al-‘Azim” three times, with tranquility. Rising from ruku‘: standing upright and saying “Sami‘a Allahu liman hamidah,” then “Rabbana wa laka al-hamd.” Sujud (prostration): prostrating on the seven body parts (the forehead and nose, the two palms, the two knees, and the tips of the feet) with tranquility, and saying “Subhana Rabbi al-A‘la” three times. Sitting between the two prostrations: sitting and saying “Rabbighfir li.” Tashahhud: reciting the tashahhud in the second sitting (the second rak‘ah) and the final sitting (the last rak‘ah), and reciting the Ibrahimi prayer in the final tashahhud. Taslim: turning to the right and saying “As-salamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullah,” then to the left likewise. Arkan of the prayer (it is not valid without them): Standing for those who are able (in the obligatory prayers). The opening takbir. Reciting al-Fatihah. Ruku‘. Rising from ruku‘. Sujud on the seven body parts. Rising from sujud. Sitting between the two prostrations. Tranquility (staying still in every pillar). Order between the pillars. The final tashahhud. Sitting for the final tashahhud. Sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ. The two taslims. Recommended and virtuous acts of the prayer: Raising the hands at bowing, rising from it, and when standing to the third rak‘ah. Placing the right hand over the left on the chest while standing. The opening supplication (du‘a al-istiftah) after the opening takbir. Reciting whatever you can of the Qur’an after al-Fatihah in the first two rak‘ahs. Important notes: Tranquility (calmness, stillness, and not rushing) is an essential pillar of ruku‘, sujud, and standing. You must observe the order. #quran #AyatulKursi #fyp #QuranRecitation #IslamicReminders
