We are often quick to recognize the flaws, fears, and darkness in those around us, yet rarely stop to question why certain things provoke such strong reactions within us. Sometimes what we judge in others reflects something we’ve suppressed, feared, or refused to acknowledge in ourselves. But not every judgment is a reflection of your own darkness. Sometimes it reveals your values, boundaries, or experiences. The next time someone brings out the worst in you, ask yourself: Am I reacting to who they are, or to something within me that I haven’t fully understood?
