As a society we’re conditioned to believe that being pregnant should be the happiest time of our lives - why should we ever be upset? But in reality, days like this are normal. Thankfully mine are few and far between, but it doesn’t mean that I don’t I have days where I’m overwhelmed, mourning the body I once had or terrified that I’m never going to be ‘just me’ again. I wasn’t going to share this because I usually tear up and pull it together in the bathroom. But I wanted to share the raw truth behind my pregnancy journey and on this day in particular, I just needed to release what I was feeling. Sometimes it’s just damn hard.
