@scottishdailyrecord: This is Alexander Donald. The HGV driver was so drunk that when police asked to see his driving licence he presented them with his supermarket loyalty card. The 47-year-old drove a fully-laden 28-tonne lorry on the busy M90 motorway during rush hour while he was almost six times over the alcohol limit. He downed a bottle of wine at the wheel, and had a second lined up in his cab as he weaved through traffic between Perth and Edinburgh. It was only quick-thinking by another lorry driver which brought Donald to a halt on the hard shoulder and prevented a potentially catastrophic accident. #News #NewsforYou #Scotland
He’ll loose the license for that. Probably 2-3 years

Not good. So much pressure on lorry drivers. Company’s just want the money while working drivers into the ground.

He'll get a job driving for Asda. One of their drivers was so drunk it was too high to be measured on a random breath test. He worked at Asda Falkirk Chilled distribution Centre

I was a trucker but cannot condone this idiots actions.
I'm with others on this, he should NEVER be allowed be behind the wheel of a truck EVER again and also be made to serve a 5 year general driving ban, on any other vehicle.
