@itstherespawn: Tetsuya Nomura, best known for his work on the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts series, celebrates his 56th birthday. The day coincides with the release of the Kingdom Hearts I-III Collection. Nomura worked for Square initially as a monster designer for Final Fantasy V in 1992, but later worked alongside Yoshitako Amano as a secondary character designer for Final Fantasy VI. He later took on lead character designer duties for Final Fantasy VII, a role he kept for many later Final Fantasy instalments, including Final Fantasy X, XIII, and XV. Nomura is perhaps best known as the creator of the Kingdom Hearts series, serving also as Director and character designer throughout the games. Nomura’s designs are often some of gaming’s most recognisable, owing to his distinctive style of sharp and varying line weights, and incorporated fashion accessories. #gaming #kingdomhearts #finalfantasy #rpg
