@kampalamediatv7: SEETA HIGH SCHOOL EARNS NBL PROMOTION Seeta High School Mukono Mbalala Campus has secured promotion to Uganda’s National Basketball League after completing a remarkable comeback against Makerere Sparks. Seeta defeated Makerere 47–44 at YMCA Court, Wandegeya, on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, winning the FUBA Division One Women’s semifinal series 3–1. Makerere started strongly, leading 17–8 in the first quarter, but Seeta responded with disciplined defence and improved attacking play to overturn the deficit and seal the decisive victory. Seeta had earlier lost Game One 54–52 but bounced back to win three consecutive games, including 50–43 in Game Two and 58–47 in Game Three. Head Teacher Mr Boniface Ssebukalu attributed the achievement to the administration’s investment in sports, saying competitive games complement academics by developing discipline, teamwork, leadership, confidence and resilience. The promotion marks a major milestone for Seeta High School and gives its players an opportunity to compete against Uganda’s top women’s basketball teams in the NBL.#
