That bathroom fixture is 100 years old, antique. I’d like to get my hands on one.

Anyone who can’t imagine what you would do with a fold out seat across from the toilet clearly has never had a toddler

I can almost guarantee that red carpet room was an office and someone got sick and tired of not being able to roll their chair.

There is nothing Strange about this. That is a spa bath for 5-8 persons. That is normal.

I have what is referred to as a “Pittsburgh Toilet” in my basement … only Pittsburgh is on the other side of the state. It’s basically a standalone toilet you can use if you come into the house through the garage if you get dirty at work (construction & the like) … weird as it is, I gotta admit it’s kind of convenient when I’m doing laundry & nature calls. 😂

I have to believe that pull out seat across from the toilet was because someone was taking care of an elderly parent/grandparent. That’s the only thing that makes sense to me right now

When we were looking for houses, the realtor did not tell us at first that the house used to be a funeral home. There was a huge wooden pull elevator in the kitchen and the basement still had all the equipment for prepping the bodies for the funerals. Needless to say we left immediately after seeing the basement
