@thebrainmaze: Why Your Eyes Roll Up When You Sleep - Your eyes do something surprising when you fall asleep! Known as Bell’s phenomenon, your eyes naturally roll upward behind your eyelids, helping protect the delicate cornea from drying out. This automatic protective reflex occurs in about 90% of people.
