Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: At around 12:05 a.m. on June 13, 2025, Officer Nicole Kaneshige from the Peapack & Gladstone Police Department pulled up to the corner of Route 206 South and Old Dutch Road East. She spotted a car blocking the way. This came right after her traffic stop nearby at 11:53 p.m. the night before. As she got near, she saw a red 2024 Mazda CX-5 parked sideways by a stop sign on Old Dutch Road West. The car looked empty at first. But up close, the driver lay passed out. Officer Kaneshige called dispatch fast. She asked them to alert the Bedminster Township Police. The spot fell in their area. She pounded on the window over and over. Finally, the driver woke up. She rolled down the glass. Right away, alcohol smell hit the air. Open bottles cluttered the inside. The driver turned out to be 23-year-old Celia Peri. She said she drove from a work party in Jersey City. Still, she swore she drank nothing that night. Sergeant Jeffrey Veltri and Officer Liam McCann from Bedminster soon showed up. They saw no big rush. So they canceled the ambulance. Celia handed over her PBA Gold Card. It showed a family tie to police. Officer Kaneshige just said she didn't need it. Detective Adam Caruso joined them too. Officer Kaneshige headed back to her cruiser to check Celia's details. Celia seemed drunk. So they had her step out for sobriety tests. First came the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus check. Officer Kaneshige noted jerky eyes. No smooth tracking. Clear shakes at the edge. They started before 45 degrees. Next, the Walk and Turn. Celia missed heel-to-toe touches. She turned wrong. Steps counted off in both ways. Last, the One Leg Stand. She didn't lift her foot right. It dropped too soon. The smell, open drinks, failed tests, and her wobbly state sealed it. They arrested Celia for drunk driving. Mike's Towing took her car. It stayed locked for 12 hours under John's Law. Officer Kaneshige drove her to the Peapack & Gladstone station. There, they read the standard rights for drivers. Celia agreed to blow into the machine. Her breath test hit 0.17% blood alcohol. That's twice the 0.08% limit. A sober friend picked her up after signing the liability form. She waited for court from there. Officer Kaneshige wrote these tickets: Driving under the influence (39:4-50) Reckless driving (39:4-96) Careless driving (39:4-97) Open container (39:4-51B) 10:10 Where she PARKED TO SLEEP!!! 14:52 Nah,that was a long freaking eyeball test 15:35 her eyes start tripping me out. What is happening 23:56 if it’s not an option then why tell her to do you a favor… 24:06 Whaaaaat? 30:35 highly inappropriate. 32:50 Sorry, your Nepo Card has been declined! 39:15 Kickball in the third grade???
