It’s more odd to me that he only describes her personality as art, sports and princesses, instead of talking about how her actual personality. He does the same with the other kids. I’d describe my son as funny and wants to make others laugh, or naturally athletic. I wouldn’t describe his personality as video games and football. Those are interests.

You’re right. No teacher would ask that. All kids engage in dramatic play at 5. The teacher used her interest to get her engaged in activities. She didn’t think she changed her identity!
